Psalm 48:14

Lord I have not tithed or given monetarily as of recent, I’ve given of my time, which I do consider a tithe, because as a volunteer time is money, but I have rarely ever given monetarily…mainly because things are tight very often, I wouldn’t be on Medicaid if I was making a lot of money. But I heard a very good sermon last weekend on why I should do so, that I should give God my first and best so that he blesses the rest. Papa, I’ve seen you get me through a time when I only had about $6,000 to my name and had a mortgage that was $2,000 to pay, and no real job.. I didn’t know how I was going to do it..but people gave to me without hesitation. My MomsNext group showered me with gifts and Heather S paid my December mortgage and we got to stay in this house. So I have seen your blessing on my life when I was in financial trouble and 4 years later, I am still in this house, still able to pay all my monthly bills etc….you have blessed me and it’s about time I start blessing others. It is the right thing to do.
